About
Airman Opus (aka Opus aka Steve) is me– a USAF veteran, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7591 Chaplain, member of the post color guard, amateur radio operator KC9JMF, student at Madison Area Technical College, coffee addict, wannabe blogger, techie, good cook, Bucky fan, and resident of Madison, WI.
I am still working on the title “Veteran” and what it means– I was a part of a single chapter of a book of history whose most recent chapters are still being written and revised. I don’t have a “mission statement” for my blog, other than to say this– the lessons I learned during my time in a US Air Force uniform have rescued and sustained me through some of the most difficult times of my life. So I wear the title “Veteran”. And, occasionally, I write about things in my life, which is the life of a vet. Whatever that means today.
If you’d like to get in touch, you can find me on Facebook.
